In Southern Chile or Patagonia a one day nature offers 4 different weathers, from summer to winter. Be prepared for all kind of climate, even in Summer you maid can cool down you beer beside your tent. In rainy areas a rain poncho like bikers use is very comfortable, you stay dry and same as your saddle too. In our area, in Northern Chile pack trips and riding is more easier, because we have 310 sunny days. You have to protect you from the sun with a good sun hut. The days are warm, not hot, the nights cool.

On the photo we just cross, on this day very low level, the Rio Cochamo river and this region is close to Puerto Montt. I know this river very well and the trails, we built up and create this horseback outfit and run it for over 7 years. The trail rides are a life-time adventure and the company call Campo Aventura.
